Finally! We’re back online after nearly a week! I know this family is anxious to see their sneak peek. I met this adorable little girl last July and I cannot believe how much she has grown! I just love the little outfits Mom picked out for this session. We had to brave the heat and humidity, but I think we got some beautiful captures.

I think you can tell from these images how much Miss K adores her Mom and Dad! Enjoy your sneak peeks.

Wow! 2009 went by so quickly. Thank you to all my wonderful clients for making it such a successful year. I have really enjoyed getting to know you all and watch your families grow this past year. I thought I would start the new year off by reviewing some of the last sessions of 2009. I was so busy during the holidays that I didn’t have time to post regularly. Plus I know many of my families were wanting to keep their images a secret for their Christmas card. I think it’s safe to share now!

My girls are still at those ages where they experience the holidays with wide-eyed wonder and anticipation. I love that. I will miss it when it is gone. This year, we had a lot of fun playing around in our Halloween costumes role playing our characters. It makes me smile that my three year old asked me to take her picture and “make her magic”. I hope when they are old and I am gone, this is something that they will remember that we did and that they enjoyed. Here is my woodland fairy and my Snow White.

This is a rare moment, she never hams it up for the camera:

I met up with T and S for a quick Halloween Mini-Session this past Friday. Aren’t they too cute? Mom and I got our exercise chasing this little monkey around the park, but he sure is a sweetheart. I just had to share some from this session.

This is a project very close to my heart. My daughter started preschool this year. I can’t believe that my baby is no longer a baby anymore. I love that right now she is living in the world of story books and fantasy. She loves acting out the fairy tales that we read each day. I know that soon enough she will come home and only want to talk about the Jonas Brothers or Hannah Montana or whatever the media conglomerates come up with next. Right now, though, I want to savor this sweet and innocent time in her life. I’ve been planning this series for months and am proud to present the first installment: Little Red Riding Hood.

I have several more installments planned, so keep checking back in the next few months.

I had so much fun with these cousins. Baby C, and brothers P and C were so much fun all decked out in their Auburn gear!

The K Family and I had so much fun at the Grapevine Botanical Gardens. Big brother D and big sister E are so caring and loving towards their baby brother and sister Miss G and Mr. G. Once we put on the mosquito repellent we were all happy to shoot away in the park until almost dusk. What a beautiful setting for beautiful family portraits. Mom and Dad here are your sneak peeks. Your gallery should be ready soon!

Today I had the pleasure of meeting the T family. Mr. R is 4 months old and such a cutie. Miss M is his 4 year old big sister. They made a long drive all the way from Plano just to get their pictures made. This was mainly a session for Mr. R, but I’m glad we could get some shots of the two of them together! I think you’ll agree that these two are very photogenic. Mom here are your sneak peeks. Your gallery will be up soon!
