Have you had the dreaded mass market photography studio experience? From having to take your child to unfamiliar surroundings, the long wait times in the waiting room, being rushed through the session and ordering prints while you are trying to entertain your child, the whole experience makes for a stressful situation that is reflected in the quality of the photos you receive.

My mission is to provide a custom and personalized photography session done in a fun and relaxing way. I do my sessions at your home or another location of your choice (such as a local park), so the child is in familiar surroundings. This allows your child to relax and have fun, so their true personality comes out. I prefer to use on location natural light, but I do have a portable studio that I can utilize if need be.

Sessions usually last 1-3 hours, but I will take as long as we need to get a good sampling of images. I will not hurry you along. Newborns and babies take longer because they may need to nurse, cuddle or nap. The child’s needs are paramount, and I am happy to wait while their needs are taken care of.

If you have special items, such as blankets, stuffed animals, etc. please have them ready at the beginning of our portrait session. If you have a special outfit (ie a baptismal gown) that you want your child photographed wearing, please have that ready as well.

Within seven days of the portrait session, proofs will be in an online gallery that you can send to friends and family. Online ordering is also provided. Of course I am available to consult with you about your images if you so desire.
